Spider-Man: Miles Morales - PC version with first teaser and system requirements

from Maximilian Hohm
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is due out for PC later this year. Now the title has been teased for the first time and the system requirements for the game have been published. These are surprisingly moderate, so the title should actually perform properly on most PCs. Read more about this below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is another title already available for Playstation 5 and due for release for PC later this year. In the game you embody the teenager Miles Morales, who can benefit from his bioelectric Venom attacks and his stealth compared to Spiderman. After an attack on New York, he must defend his city and ensure order between a seedy energy company and a criminal high-tech army.

The open-world game was already able to impress with its looks on the Playstation and now seems to be a highly optimized title as a PC port, which should also perform properly on older systems. The minimum requirements for the game are a Core i3-4160, 8 GiB of RAM and a graphics card like a Geforce GTX 950 or Radeon RX 470. Unfortunately, the developers didn’t specify which quality level, resolution and frame rate this hardware applies to, but since it’s a dual-core and, from today’s perspective, a fairly underperforming graphics card, it should be 30 frames per second with low details.

On the other hand, a Core i5-4670 or a Ryzen 5 1600 with 16 GiB of RAM and a Geforce GTX 1060 6 GiB or Radeon RX 580 8 GiB are recommended. Here, too, the requirements seem to be rather moderate, so that gamers with older or weaker PCs can probably enjoy the title. In addition to these requirements, the developers recommend installing the game on an SSD, where it occupies about 75 GB.
