Pokémon GO: Astral Eclipse starts Wednesday, bringing new Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala

The release of Solgaleo and Lunala in Pokémon GO is imminent. Starting with the Astral Eclipse event, you can evolve them. We will show you all the content of the event.

What is this event? At the astral eclipse event, the stars are in the foreground. Finally you can develop Cosmovum and there are more bonuses for you.

Astral Eclipse – Start, Content, Bonuses, Shinys

When does it start? The event begins on Wednesday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will then be active until Monday November 28 at 20:00 local time.

New Pokemon: For the first time, you can obtain the Circle of the Sun Pokémon Solgaleo and the Disk of the Moon Pokémon Lunala.

• If you develop Cosmovum during the day, you will get Solgaleo
• If you develop Cosmovum at night, you will get Lunala
• Each development costs 100 Cosmog candies

Wild Pokemon: The following Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild: Alolan Rattata*, Alolan Sandan*, Cleo*, Alolan Vulpix*, Stardu*, Hoothoot*, Suncore*, Lunastone*, Sunrock*, Somniam*, Wumboll*, Lilminip, Mangunior * (You can meet Pokemon marked with a star * as Shiny)

You may encounter Stardu* during special field research.

Special Sky: During the Astral Eclipse, you will be able to discover Nebula skies in-game for the first time this season.

Raids: In the raids you will meet the following Pokémon during the astral eclipse:

• Solgaleo shoes
• Galaxy Socks

So, with the arrival of the Ultra Beasts on Sunday, you’ll have an additional mini-event waiting for you during the Astral event. So the next few days could be really exciting again. Especially the collector challenge with the stardust rewards sounds like you could benefit from it.
