Retrogames Ltd. remains true to its product maintenance line, as with TheC64, and is now releasing the latest firmware update 1.1.1 for the TheA500 Mini, which was released at the beginning of April.
This offers error corrections of the first update released shortly before, the correction of the critical savegame bug is particularly worth mentioning here. In addition, the update expands TheA500 Mini compared to the delivery version with the following features, among others:
- Support for disk images (ADFs) including playlists for multi-disk titles
- Extended expert configuration for disk images, such as selecting the Amiga model and the kickstart version
- Automatic in-game screen resizing via Home + Y
- Better configuration of the controllers, including hot-swap options and support for the Speedlink Competition Pro USB
