Diablo Immortal: Farming Legendary Items – Tips
Earning legendary gear in Diablo Immortal – like all parts of the Diablo series – is quite simple: there is a small chance that Legendaries will drop from every monster and some other sources in the game. This means that whether you’re just roaming a zone or battling a dungeon boss, you’ll always have a chance to earn a legendary item. Monsters at higher game difficulties seem to have a greater chance of dropping Legendaries, so you should find them more often over time.
There is also a small chance of dropping a legendary item as a reward from Elder Portal and the Horadric Bestiary to obtain. New pages in the Horadric Bestiary are activated by slaying monsters in the world for the Monster Essences required to unlock them.
As a particularly popular farm area has Zoltun Kull’s archive crystallized at the Sea of Shasar. In the following video from Youtuber mTurboGamer describes a farm run:
- Unfold your map and open the zone Zoltun Kull’s archive.
- Then teleport to Hidden niche-Waypoint in archive.
- This area is full of enemies and mini-bosses, making it ideal for farming gold, experience, legendaries, magic dust, etc.
- For legendary weapons and armor, keep an eye out Mini bosses with an orange-brown colored icon Look out on the map. If you kill them, you get guaranteed legendary item. So don’t miss them! Important: With multiple players, only the first player to attack the boss gets guaranteed loot!
- Mini bosses with golden yellow icon also have a good chance of dropping a legendary item.
Even if farming in Zoltun Kull’s archive is very popular because of the ideal framework conditions, the drop rules mentioned above naturally apply throughout the game. If the archive is overrun by players, it is advisable to switch to other zones, because there the rare Legendary bosses are less likely to be snatched from under your nose — (source).
