Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is coming to Switch, and it’s coming soon
Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will also be released for the Switch. This step took quite a long time considering the sequels Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue all are already playable on Nintendo’s console.
If you want to catch up on three of the best Assassin’s Creed games or if you want to fight the Templars with Ezio one more time on the way, you can do so very soon. Here is the most important information:
- Publication date: February 17, 2022
- Price: 39.99 dollars (for us probably 39.99 euros)

That’s in the Ezio collection for the Switch
The most important thing is of course the games. It contains all three parts in which Ezio Auditore da Firenze acts as the protagonist:
Technically revamped: The games from the Ezio Collection were originally released for the PS3 and Xbox 360, but should offer some advantages on the Switch. These include “improved functions such as handheld mode, HD Rumble, a touchscreen interface and optimized displays”.

All content on board: In addition to the basic games, the bundle comes with all published single-player DLCs. As a little bonus there are also the two short films Assassin’s Creed Lineage and Assassin’s Creed Embers.
Is it worth buying? Assassin’s Creed 2 is still considered the best part of the series and Brotherhood and Revelations also have their moments. Now all that remains is to hope that the title will run properly on the switch.
