The new PS Plus model is available now and offers a large library of bonus titles that you can play with the appropriate subscription level. However, the monthly “free” games will by no means be abolished with the change in service.

As usual, a selection of games awaits you in July 2022, which you can also get with the Essential subscription. Officially, these are not yet known, but the community (via Reddit) already has some ideal candidates in stock.

The biggest name that is currently falling in the PS Plus community is Nioh 2. Team Ninja’s action RPG, like its grandiose predecessor, follows in the footsteps of Dark Souls and Co, so it works according to the rules of the merciless but motivating FromSoftware formula. In Nioh 2 we play a samurai and fight against nasty monsters from Japanese mythology with katana, spear and co.

How likely is that? It’s very possible that Nioh 2 will actually end up in the PS Plus lineup sooner or later, simply because its predecessor was already part of the PS Plus lineup: in November 2019, members were able to secure Nioh 1 on PS Plus.
