What are you going to play this weekend? (August 21) – Talking Point
[ad_1]
Another week of 2021 flies by as a quick thing in Zippy Mode (a zipper, for example) and we can look back at the events of the past seven days as events tumbled down the swift River of Time. Treasured memories, like that time a Nintendo fan turned his N64 into a Switch, or when The special edition Pokémon Dialga & Palkia Nintendo Switch Lite was announced, remember that? What happens with time when Brendan Fraser was playing his Switch before meeting a fan on Zoom? All those moments lost in time, like tears in the rain …
After a busy week, it’s time to relax and discuss our weekend game plans. Some mThe Embers of the Nintendo Life team have done exactly that below, so feel free to read our posts and then join yours via our comment section. Enjoy!

This weekend I’m review-free for the first time in a long time, so I’m going back to my long-term project: The House In Fata Morgana. Also, Minecraft. I am making a rural village; The latest addition is a cartographer’s house that is more of a Hobbit Hole of sorts. I’m very proud of it, it’s a shame it’s not real and I can’t live there.

First of all, the WarioWare demo is very good and everyone should play it! I need to save some energy for the main game, but Wario has put me in the mood. I haven’t played Wario Land 4 on the GBA in over a decade and I’m curious if it’s as good as I remember. The GBA lacked a traditional Mario platformer to call its own, so Wario not only helped fill the void, but gave us a bit of variety.
Sticking with older handhelds, I’ll be bringing out the DS as well, one of our projects next week on the video side is based a bit on Other code (Memory tracking in NA). Both Another Code and its Wii sequel Another Code R are incredibly underrated games, hopefully they can get a bit more recognition over time.

I have a pretty uneventful weekend ahead of me, so I plan to continue with Axiom Verge 2! Whether I do or not is up on the air right now, but I’ll give it a good try. I’m in the mood for a good horror title too, so I could kick off Little Nightmares, or possibly even Resident Evil for it. billionth weather.
I’m also a bit tempted to download No More Heroes before the new entry, but I remember trying it in 2007 and not really liking it. Hey, maybe it’s different this time!

This weekend, I have some strange plans. Recently, I really went back to… Super Mario Odyssey? I had previously won the game many moons ago (pun intended), but I still have a lot to collect, so I started playing again last night out of boredom, and I remembered that it is AMAZING. It will definitely continue in the next few days.
I’ll probably play the WarioWare demo to death as well, because it’s so incredibly awesome. Lastly, I keep plugging in Paper Mario: The Origami King, because it’s cool and I’m only halfway there (I think I’m unconsciously dragging it around so it’s never finished). And there you have it: this weekend, I’ll be completely immersed in the Mario universe. Wahoo!

Hello. This weekend I’m going to break through a few different snippets to review, including the return of the father of modern FPS shooter, Quake. It’s been a long time since I’ve made my way through the dirty corridors of the ID Software classic, so I hope I won’t get too defeated once I’ve completed the campaign chapters and thrown myself into frenzied multiplayer. action.
Elsewhere, if I have time, I’ll dive into some more Axiom Verge 2. I loved the first game, for me one of the best Metroidvanias on the Switch, and so far this sequel is absolutely up to the task. my heady expectations. I really have no idea how Thomas Happ does it. Have a nice weekend, whatever you are doing or playing!
As always, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave us a comment below with your gaming options for the next few days …
