Super Animal Royale 1.0 is out now with pets, power-ups, season one, and more

Today, Super Animal Royale is coming out of Xbox Game Preview and releasing version 1.0. We can’t thank all of you in the Xbox community enough for taking the time to not only play Super Animal Royale, but please provide your feedback on how to keep getting better and better.
Your feedback was especially valuable when it came to optimizing the experience for controllers, and you will be able to see how some of those feedback made its way into the game when you release the new update.
v1.0 is one of our biggest updates yet and begins Season 1, so we can’t wait to dig into it and talk about all the exciting changes you can expect today.
Animal Pass File
One of the main frustrations you’ve told us about battle pass systems in ongoing online games is that when a season ends, the chance to win that content is gone forever. We wanted to get rid of that FOMO and allow you to progress at your own pace, which is why today we are introducing the Animal Pass Archive.
The current season will cost 550 SAW tickets as usual to unlock, but with the Animal Pass File, you will also be able to activate any previous passes you own to move forward alongside the current season. The XP you earn will also be used in both passes! If you missed or don’t own a previous season, you also have the option to purchase it for 750 SAW tickets.
Season 1: Super Animal World Pass begins
Over the past few months, Xbox gamers have come to know and love Super animal world, the safari park that used to host visitors from all over the world, and now serves as the setting for Super Animal Royale. With the new Season 1 Animal Pass, we’re celebrating many of the park’s great establishments, including items from Slow Food, Crispr Cafe, and the Welcome Center.
The pass also includes park-themed food and drink items and weapons, including the Chocolate Cake Gun that all players can earn for free. Players who complete the pass will also be able to celebrate the launch with us in-game using the new Party Horn emote.
Lastly, let’s talk about Mini Animal pets! That’s right, your Super Animal can now be followed by a smaller animal as a pet. Mini Animals are bioengineered to make traditionally untamed beasts like tigers and bears suitable as pets, and while they aren’t exactly tame, they are at least small enough to prevent serious mutilation. For starters, there are 8 mini animals to purchase from the SAW store and a mini capybara that can be won in the Super Animal World Pass.
Super frogs jump to the island
SAW has prepared the first Super Amphibian of the game in the laboratory: the Super Frog! Starting at level 30, players can now unlock the Super Frog and 4 additional races: Super Tree Frog, Super Rain Frog, Super Horned Frog, and Super Dart Frog.
New gameplay improvements
Version 1.0 of Super Animal Royale is packed with improvements to the game, including two new Super Powerups and improvements to existing powerups.
The new SAW Impossible Tape power-up will instantly repair your opponent’s damaged armor upon death, saving you tape and time. Impossible you say? Not for the SAW scientists. Just keep in mind that level 3 armor will only repair to 2/3 of its durability. 3/3 would be really impossible.
The second new power is the Bandolier, which increases your maximum load capacity for ammo, superstrip, grenades, skunk bombs, and bananas (praise!). Simple but effective!
We’ve also made changes to existing Powerups, including a redesign from the Skunk Gas Vial to the Skunk Gas Snorkel, and added shallow water traction with Claw boots so you don’t lose speed. The update features around 50 balance tweaks, game optimizations, content updates, and bug fixes – a much longer list than we can fit here!
