DC Universe Online – Welcome to Episode 41: House of Legends

The time has come! Heroes and villains must put aside their differences and unite. Training must begin immediately in preparation for imminent danger to the multiverse. Join The Monitor and other notable heroes and villains on Xbox One at Episode 41: House of Legends, the new free expansion available today at DC Universe Online.

House of legends focuses on new features and quality of life improvements, making the game more enjoyable for players of all skill levels. This is something we’ve been working on for years and we’re thrilled to bring these updates to our Xbox One community.

New Player Hub

The most notable update is our new player hub, House of Legends. This is the first new player hub introduced since the launch of DC Universe Online. It combines the best of the Watchtower and Hall of Doom centers, reducing them to a player center more accessible to all factions. You’ll be able to access teleports, buy gear from vendors, train at a new training facility, and collect missions faster to jump straight into the action. Make sure to stop and chat with The Monitor, Tempus Fuginaut, Harbinger, and other DC characters as you explore the various locations within.

Introducing allies

Have you ever felt like you need a little more help in battle? Good news! Now you can win and summon an ally into action to give yourself an advantage over your enemies. Each character has a unique set of combat and support skills to level up. House of legends you will have nine different allies to win, like Cyborg, Flash, Professor Zoom, Flashpoint Batman and Queen Diana.

Save the universe, the bus and the service

Now that we’ve covered the new player hub and allies to aid you in battle, you might be wondering which to play first. We are going to need you Save the universe, new featured content begins at launch with Superman Classics. This new system will feature enhanced past content favorites with new episode rewards to earn (which we will get to shortly).

In addition to Save the Universe, the entire On Duty UI has been updated, allowing players of all skill levels to queue up to get content faster. We’ve also added Omnibus content that allows players to access all episodes for FREE, while also earning some of the most recent episode rewards.

Episode and daily rewards

House of legends includes new outfits, feats and styles inspired by The Monitor and Tempus Fuginaut. In addition to the new episode rewards, a new daily login reward system has been added to the game. Doctor Fate Daily Rewards really reward you every day just for logging in and hitting the claim button. You can get items like Origin Marks, Stabilizer Shards, Artifact XP, and more! Claim enough of these each month to unlock featured items, including September’s Enhanced Runaway Advisor Style and Nabu’s Chosen Head Style.

New or coming back? Download DCUO free from the Microsoft Store on Xbox One. Once you start the game, choose your morality, mentor, and powers to use in battle. Then create and customize your unique character to begin your adventures in the iconic DC universe!
