Watch Dogs: Legion Assassin’s Creed Crossover and Title Update 5.5 Now Available

Watch Dogs: Legion crosses with Assassin’s creed today, adding a modern Assassin named Darcy to the DedSec ranks via season pass. Darcy, which arrives as part of the title update 5.5 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | Yes, it comes with a host of free additions for everyone. Watch Dogs: Legion players, including new missions, new PVP modes, and the Xbox debut of Legion of the Dead, a PVE survival mode that challenges DedSec to escape a London that has been overrun by hordes of zombies.

Darcy’s new missions, Enter the Assassins and The New Creed, are free, as are two new world missions, Templar Hunt and Artifact Hunt. Season Pass owners can play as Darcy in single player and online modes, taking advantage of unique abilities including:

• Hidden blade: Assassin’s signature weapon, enhancing melee attacks and allowing takedowns from any angle.
• Eagle drone: An explorer drone that can self-destruct and emit a short-range electromagnetic pulse.
• Disguise– Assume the appearance of an enemy to access restricted locations and apply disguise to nearby allies in multiplayer.

Title Update 5.5 also brings two new PVP modes for Watch Dogs: Legion Online: Invasion, the fan-favorite PvP mode from past games, which allows players to invade another player’s game and perform a trick while attempting to remain anonymous. Thanks to Play As Anyone, Invasion now allows hackers to trade other world characters to avoid detection. The other new mode is Extraction, in which players hold crypto units in their hands and race around town to load up the data while other players hunt it down.

The single-player campaign will also add Endurance Mode, which offers a new level of challenge with game modifiers including:

• Permanent permanent death
• Fast commute from disabled metro station
• Most civilians are starting to dislike DedSec
• Significantly longer cooldowns for most skills, tricks, and gadgets.

Finally, Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead, a cooperative PvE survival mode in which up to four players try to gather resources and equipment and escape London during a zombie apocalypse, is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S for the first time, with two new enemies, new weapons, and more. The London of the near future is a great city, full of adventure and danger, and as of today, whether you’re in the mood to hunt down Templars or flee from the hordes of the undead, there are even more new things waiting to be discovered.
