The Riftbreaker launches October 14 with Xbox Game Pass on day one

Today, I am very excited to share with you that The Big Breaker will be released on October 14! The game is a mix of base building strategy, survival, exploration and action RPG. Explore an alien world, prepare it for human colonization, and open a two-way portal at home, all while enjoying the awesome next-gen features we have prepared for you. Best of all? You can play it on Xbox Series X | Yes, Windows PC, Cloud and with Xbox Game Pass on the first day.
Last time I told you about some of the next-gen technicalities of the game, like real-time ray tracing. In addition to those technologies, we also take advantage of the latest generation AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology, allowing us to say with confidence that you will be able to play. The Big Breaker on Xbox Series X | S in 4K resolution at up to 60fps. Today, however, I would like to tell you more about The Big Breakerin campaign mode, specifically.
In campaign mode, you take control of Captain Ashley S. Nowak. You jump through a one-way portal to Galatea 37, an alien world at the edge of the Milky Way galaxy. Your job is to prepare the planet for human colonization by building all the necessary infrastructure: factories, mines, refineries, and dozens of other facilities. After that, you must open a two-way portal back to Earth to allow the colonists to take over.
Building the Rift station itself is not that easy. However, the biggest trick is to make it work. To do that, you will have to gather significant amounts of various rare resources. Luckily, not all of them are available in the immediate vicinity of your landing site. To complete the mission, you will take a scenic route through the different biomes around the planet.
Naturally, you won’t find the resources you need on the first try. You will have to carry out a series of missions to identify the exact locations suitable for your resource extraction positions. They will include exploring, scanning and researching various life forms and places that will eventually lead you to the precious minerals you need. Each biome you visit will amaze you with unique creatures, weather events, and other challenges that you will have to adapt to. No one said breaking cracks is an easy job!
However, your line of work has a number of benefits. During The Big Breaker campaign, you’ll gain access to dozens of technologies your friends on Earth could only dream of. Exotic alien minerals will allow you to build incredibly powerful weapons and give your Mecha-Suit a wide range of completely new abilities. Pay attention to what you find. You never know where you can find your new cryogenic atomizer!
As you visit the different parts of the planet in search of the necessary materials, you will gradually establish a global network of facilities that will work together to open the portal back to Earth. Obviously, the inhabitants of Galatea 37 are not going to be very happy with your interference in the natural order of the planet. Native creatures will attack your base over and over again, getting stronger over time. You can be sure that they won’t let you go without a fight.

Build your base, collect samples and research new inventions to survive. STORY You play the role of Captain Ashley S. Nowak: You are the Leakbreaker, an elite scientist / commando inside a powerful Mecha-Suit. It is a very complex invention and requires enormous amounts of energy. Simple solar collectors and a few tons of steel will not be enough. You will need to build a complex chain of mines, refineries, power plants, and research facilities to complete this mission. EXPLORATION Galatea 37 is an unknown planet in the Sycorax belt of the Milky Way galaxy. Long-distance surveys found that it is habitable and perfect for colonization. The planet is full of rare substances and minerals that can be found in various parts of the world. The varied biomes can surprise you with unfamiliar fauna and flora, as well as harsh weather conditions. Build local outposts in resource-rich locations that will transport needed resources using rift technology. DEFENSE Your presence on this planet will not go unnoticed. As you develop your industry and disrupt the natural order, the world will begin to see you as a threat. Build your defenses. Build walls, barriers and defense towers as the attacks get stronger with each passing day. You will face thousands of hostile creatures trying to eliminate your presence. HACK, SLASH, SHOOT Mr. Riggs can be equipped with powerful weapons and abilities that will allow him to take on the largest beasts. You will have to be prepared to face many hostile alien creatures while exploring the planet. COLLECT STRANGE ARTIFACTS AND SAMPLES Fallen Beasts will drop valuable research specimens as well as rare resources. Use everything you can gather to research and create new technologies, buildings, weapons, and equipment. You can also explore the terrain using your sensors and dig for buried treasure. RESEARCH Use the samples you’ve collected to research new technologies to help you build your base, improve your defenses, develop new blueprints for your Mecha Suit, or upgrade existing technologies. CRAFT Mr. Riggs is fully customizable and upgradeable. Use the blueprints you’ve researched to create new parts and weapons. The use of better materials for the manufacturing process results in the development of equipment with improved properties. Each crafted item has unique properties. THE SCHMETTERLING ENGINE This game was created using the latest version of the Schmetterling 2.0 engine developed by EXOR Studio, which was previously used to create X-Morph: Defense and Zombie Driver.
