Fortnite’s island gears up for the wrath of the cube queen

In the midst of all the ghosts and horrors of Fortnitemares, a terrifying surprise has arrived on the island: the arrival of the Queen of the Cube!

The full scope of your vision for the cubic domain is not yet known, but we will do our best to prepare you for what to expect in the The Wrath of the Cube Queen!

New forces have come to the bucket

You are already an expert in handling Cube Monsters, but with the Queen has arrived a new type of Cube even more powerful. These cubes are called Caregivers. They are tall ghost-like creatures that will drag you towards The sidesand fight you in a challenging showdown. Keepers are the strongest cube warriors yet, but getting out of a battle with one of them will pay off well.

There is a new reason to challenge The Sideways now; a sidearm has made its way into the fray: the Side scythe. More wicked weapons have returned to the island; Try to get your hands on the witch’s broomsticks and the pumpkin rocket launcher.

Hope you like sweets, because Candy will make it come back too, this time with the new Zero Point Pretzel in the mix.

Horde Rush Returns

The Cubes are trying to get out of The Sideways and into our kingdom! The only way to prevent that is Horde Rush! That’s right, Horde Rush LTM is back! Fight monsters alongside your teammates and earn more points by finding score multipliers, combining combos, and eliminating as many monsters as you can. Survive in locations across the map and defeat the final boss to achieve a hard-won victory.

The Horde Rush LTM will be available for the rest of Fortnitemares (now through November 1 at 10am ET). The return of Horde Rush will also see the arrival of Search for the Horde. Completing the mission will grant you these special rewards: Thinking Juice Backbling, the Banner of the cube queen, and the Spray Leader Hug Scream.

Make sure to get plenty of practice in Horde Rush, as there will be a Horde Rush tournament later this week where you can win cosmetics! More details on this will be available in the Compete tab.

Ariana Grande returns and new missions arise

Horde Rush missions aren’t the only ones featured in The Wrath of the Cube Queen! From now on, Hallowhead will introduce you to the Fortnitemares punch card. Here are all the missions now available, as well as the rewards for completing them.

1. Complete the general mission of Fortnitemares to unlock the Raven’s Curse Spray, the Midnight Showdown Loading Screen, and Wrathful flight trail.

2. Ariana Grande has returned to the island, but now with a new team, ready to take down the monsters. Astronaut Ariana Grande, the galaxy’s greatest monster hunter, invites you to join her hunt. Complete her Monster hunter Questline to unlock the new All Weather Extractor Spout (Dark Style)! There is also a special bonus for Fortnite crew members in this one. Completing the Monster Hunt questline will grant crew members the Brite style of the all-weather extractor spout along with its dark variant.

3. Help Dark Jonesy find a powerful artifact that can restore his vision in the Oracle Questline. Completing Oracle Questline will unlock the Cube Cruiser Glider, A deployed cube you can fly in!

Hallowheads Punchard won’t be the only Punchard going live at 9 am ET, however …

With the containment specialist Ghostbusters Punchard, deploy seismographs, exterminate mini-Pufts, and more to unlock the Backless Phantom Bling – inspired by the next Ghostbusters: Another Life film!

Complete these exciting missions and earn your rewards while you can, as they will be available until November 1!
