Available Flarkin ‘Now: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | Yes! Damn it feels good to write. In close collaboration with Marvel, our team at Eidos-Montréal has been preparing a new version of the Guardians in an entirely new universe. This is a story-based, single player, third person action adventure game that will take you on a wild journey.

In our game, you will play as Star-Lord, the (supposed) leader of the Guardians. Somehow, he managed to convince four legendary outlaws to join his crew. They haven’t been together for that long and are still discovering group dynamics as they travel the galaxy in search of adventure and profit. But very soon, they will set off a chain reaction of events that will allow the Universal Church of Truth to stand out. Its objective? Nothing less than submitting the galaxy to your beliefs.

You are practically the glue that holds the group together and will interact with the Guardians throughout the adventure. In combat, it’s not just about Star-Lord – you’ll need to use your crew’s unique strengths and abilities to defeat a wide variety of cosmic foes (including bosses!). For example, Drax is best at dealing staggered damage and stunning enemies, while Gamora deals the most damage to health. Groot is excellent at crowd control by immobilizing enemies, while you can use Rocket’s explosive to take out multiple enemies at once.

In exploration, you will come across environmental puzzles that you can overcome using each of the Guardians’ talents. For example, Rocket is your go-to for any hacking job. Gamora can help you get to elevated areas and Drax has the strength to move or knock down massive structures. As for Groot, he can use his creepers to create temporary bridges. It’s about teamwork.

Throughout the story, you will be able to make decisions that will affect your relationships with the Guardians, but will also have consequences on how certain sections of the game play out. At the beginning of the game, you will try to trick Lady Hellbender with a fake and sell her a “rare monster”. Will it be Rocket or Groot? How will you handle the negotiation with her? It really can go either way depending on your choices …

It doesn’t stop there, as you can also customize your crew with over 40 outfits that you can unlock in-game. And on top of that, we’ve selected an excellent soundtrack for you to listen to on this cosmic road trip – get ready to hit memory lane with over 30 classic tracks from the ’80s. We have Rick Astley, Iron Maiden, New Kids on the Block, and so much more!
