Xbox and Xolo Maridueña Celebrate Day of the Dead with Forza Horizon 5

A time-honored tradition, the Day of the Dead is celebrated around the world, especially in Latin America, bringing together friends and family to honor the lives of their loved ones. To commemorate the holiday, we are delighted to have collaborated with actor Xolo Maridueña on a custom car livery design inspired by the Day of the Dead gifted to fans at Forza Horizon 4 and soon to reach the long-awaited Forza Horizon 5 On the 9th of november.

Drawing inspiration from Xolo’s childhood celebrations, the livery brings vivid colors and symbols to life synonymous with the 2020 Chevy Corvette Stingray tradition in the game. With vibrant yellows and oranges, and bold magenta and purples, the design pays homage to the classic elements of the Day of the Dead, including a beautiful rendering of the legend of the marigold flower (marigold) and the hummingbird.

Games have the power to broaden our perspective and introduce us to rich cultures, music, artwork, history, and traditions from around the world. We invite you to join us in celebrating the Day of the Dead and driving the Stingray in this custom livery at Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Horizon 5.

Make sure to check the livery by downloading it from the in-game Message Center. Everyone who has played and unlocked the first player house in Forza Horizon 4, and soon in Forza Horizon 5, by December 31, 2021, this special car will be gifted to you and will be found in your garage once you trade it in.
