Destiny 2 Xur Location and Items, November 5-9

The weekly Exotic Merchant Xur is found in random locations throughout the Destiny world. On Destiny 2, it can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur in the EDZ, standing in Winding cove.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

• Prometheus Lens, Kinetic Pulse Rifle: 29 Legendary Shards
• Shinobu’s Vow, Hunter’s Arms: 23 Legendary Shards
• Rampant Lion, Titan Paws: 23 Legendary Shards
• Crown of Tempests, Warlock Helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
• Exotic Engram: 97 Legendary Shards (you can now buy a second with an Exotic cipher)
• Exotic Cipher Lookup: Free

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of ancient armor and weapons, similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. These items are usually hard to find and from past seasons. Each item (be it armor or weapon) costs just 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

This week’s Xur Legendary Inventory consists of the following:

• True Prophecy, kinetic hand cannon
• Seraph Service Revolver, Kinetic Hand Cannon
• Nature of the Beast, Arc Hand Canon
• Distant barrow, solar sniper rifle
• First in, last out, bow shotgun
• Honor’s Edge, bow sword
• Keening’s Bow Weapon
• Seventh Seraph Armor Set

Xur’s items drop to a power level similar to your character’s.

Prometheus lens

Prometheus lens It is an exotic from Curse of Osiris. It used to be one of the most powerful weapons of all Destiny 2, when a bug (now fixed) caused it to deal ridiculous damage in PvP. Prometheus Lens is still great for taking out large crowds of enemies at once.

The main benefit, Prismatic hell, causes the Prometheus Lens beam to increase in size the longer you hold the trigger. This allows the tracking rifle to deal considerable damage over a large area. The secondary ability of the weapon, Flame refraction, makes the first perk even better as it allows kills to return the ammo to the magazine. The more kills you get, the longer you can hold the trigger and increase the damage area. It’s a fun pistol and it’s definitely worth the legendary shards.

Shinobu’s vote

Shinobu’s vote new gauntlets are added in Curse of Osiris. Your exotic benefit, New tricks, upgrade your Skip Grenade and grant you an additional Skip Grenade charge. The value of this exotic comes down to personal preference. Anything that gives you an extra load of grenade is great. If you like to play Arcstrider and would rather use an exotic grenade booster instead of the Raiden Flux chest piece, go for these gauntlets. If that doesn’t apply to you, skip it.

Rampant lion

Rampant lion it’s a great exotic to have in specific situations. Its main benefit is Jump jets, which provides additional air mobility and now provides a more accurate hip shot while in the air. It might not sound like much (and it isn’t, in most cases), but some players rely on these in PvP and some jumping activities like the Gauntlet or the Reactor Room. Pick them up and keep them close; you never know when you will need a more precise jump.

Crown of storms

Crown of storms it’s a pretty good Warlock Exotic, especially if you’re into Stormcaller. The main advantage of this helmet, Driving spikes, causes Bow skill kills to recharge your Bow skills and increase the duration of your Super; this ability now also stacks. The only bad news about this helmet is that it should be used with the Stormcaller, which is now a great Super PvP and a decent one for the enemy cleared in raids and raids. If you don’t have this helmet for your warlock, you should definitely consider picking it up.

Exotic Cipher Search

Starting at Beyond the light, Xur has a new search for an exotic cipher. Exotic Cipher allows you to purchase Old Exotics from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk in the tower. You will need these items and some other coins to collect exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.

This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 Strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. Upon completion of the mission, you will get an Exotic Cipher to use however you like.
