At Gardener, we wanted to tell a story with a form of representation that seeks to create joy in the players.
The story is not the only part of the game that will bring you joy; the gameplay was designed to put you in a state of calm and fluidity. On the surface, this is a simple game of jumping from one leaf to another and then attacking the flowers with a magic script that generates more leaves and propels you upwards. Dig a little deeper into the game and you will find an incredible variety in game mechanics with new obstacles introduced in each level. Unlike many platformer games released today, we wanted this game to be relatively easy to learn and complete, but still offer rewards for those who could pull off a higher skill game. If you are a completist, be sure to find the hidden lovebirds in each tower or earn three stars on each challenge level.
