Nintendo Switch Online: Despite heavy criticism, still on the road to success

The Nintendo Switch Online service continues to float on a great wave of success. This is proven above all by the latest figures that Nintendo received as part of the current annual report has published. According to this, the service now has 32 million registered users.

This is not only a respectable number in and of itself, but also means an increase of six million users compared to the previous year. Accordingly, Nintendo Switch Online was able to further expand the subscriber level, which logically splits a little more money into the coffers. There was only recently an enormous shit storm on the part of the fans when Nintendo announced the expansion pack for Nintendo Switch Online (we reported). This costs 39.99 euros per year, which many players consider to be significantly too expensive for the content on offer.

Incidentally, Nintendo has announced that it will continue to work on the development and expansion of Nintendo Switch Online. The Japanese manufacturer is planning a budget of up to two billion euros for this. Concrete details of these plans are not yet known.
