“Star Wars”: LEGO announces AT-AT ruff

With the “Star Wars AT-AT” set, the Danish toy manufacturer LEGO is now bringing the iconic ruff from the “Star Wars” saga into children’s or, better, adults’ rooms. Because not least because of the large number of parts and the quite high price, the official age recommendation is 18 years.

According to the manufacturer, the new LEGO set is a “homage to the gigantic, futuristic vehicles of the films” and consists of 6,785 parts. With a movable head, swiveling arms and adjustable legs, it is “designed with great attention to detail”. Side sliding doors reveal the inner workings of the 62 cm high, 69 cm long and 24 cm wide model. In addition to various interactive elements, according to LEGO, the set contains “hidden extras, characters and equipment for discovery tours through your own four walls” such as two speeders -Bikes, e-net cannons and nine minifigures by Luke Skywalker, General Veers and the Stormtroopers, among others. The block ruff will be available from November 26th, albeit not at the competitive price: the recommended retail price is 799.99 euros .
