Pokémon GO: Spotlight Hour Today with Chelast and Stardust

The Spotlight Hour with Chelast starts today, November 16, in Pokémon GO. In addition, a bonus brings you more stardust. We’ll show you everything about the start, shiny and content as well as for whom the event is worthwhile today.

What kind of event is that? Every Tuesday evening, Pokémon GO has a spotlight hour. At each of these events, a specific Pokémon comes into focus and is accompanied by a bonus. Trainers find many copies of this Pokémon within an hour and can use the bonus to increase supplies of candy, stardust or their experience points.

Today the plant-type Pokémon Chelast is in the spotlight. It comes from the fourth generation of the game. There is also a stardust bonus.

Spotlight lesson with Chelast – Start, Shiny, Bonus

When does it start? You already know the start time from the past of such events. The spotlight hour will start again at 6:00 p.m. local time. You then have 60 minutes to take advantage of the event, because the spotlight hour ends at 7:00 p.m.

What bonuses are there? You will encounter Chelast almost anywhere in the wild during the spotlight hour. If you use smoke, it also mainly attracts Chelast. In addition, you get double the amount of stardust for catching Pokémon.

Even if you’re not really interested in Chelast and its developments, Chelcarain and Chelterrar, you can at least stock up on stardust at the event.

Can you catch Shiny Chelast? Yes, you can catch Chelast as Shiny in Pokémon GO. The special thing is that you catch Chelast with the red Lucias hats today. These are part of the new Sinnoh event and will also affect the spotlight hour today.

Is the spotlight lesson worth it today?

How strong is Chelast? Neither Chelast nor Chelcarain are particularly strong. The highest development, Chelterrar is a good attacker, but there are many better plant attackers in raids. This Pokémon family doesn’t play a big role in Trainer Battles. So to get strong attackers, you don’t have to take part in the event today.

The event can be worthwhile if you want to catch event Pokémon like Chelast with a hat. With a lot of luck, you will even meet the special shape as a shiny and add value to your collection. Use the event primarily to earn stardust.

In the next few weeks you can take part in more spotlight hours and take advantage of their bonuses: All spotlight hours in November 2021 in Pokémon GO.
