Rainbow Six Extraction: Ubisoft Unveils Post-Launch Roadmap With Free Content

Before the release of Rainbow Six Extraction (from 49,99 at pre-order), Ubisoft has now also presented the content of the co-op shooter, which will appear in the “developing endgame mode” after the launch. This includes the Maelstrom protocol. These are weekly challenges designed specifically for seasoned Rainbow Six fans. In the communication from Ubisoft, the Maelstrom protocol is described as follows: “The players have to move through a series of nine sub-zones of increasing difficulty, tougher opponents, rapidly depleting resources and increasingly scarce time. At each checkpoint, the squads must decide whether to retreat to secure their points , or whether they try to hold out to the end. By collecting points, they secure a place in the ranking in five classes, from bronze to silver to gold, platinum and even diamond classes, with each class providing the players with special Headgear and REACT credits rewarded. “

With the so-called “missions”, players can participate in weekly modes with modifications right from the start. An example is the Veteran mode, in which there will be no HUD, limited ammunition and friendly fire. After the release, “crisis events” will also be available where players can look forward to constantly changing subject content, which is also rewarded with REACT gadgets, cosmetic items and background stories. Rainbow Six Extraction will be released on January 20, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
