Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition: Fragments of a VR mode found in the collection

A few days after the release of the GTA Trilogy – Definitive Edition, a player apparently discovered a VR mode in the debug menu, but it was not completed. Nevertheless, the titles of the new edition can be played in a kind of first-person perspective. Rockstar Intel’s Ben Turpin made the discovery and shared it directly on Twitter. A short video of the “VR mode” was also published.

In fact, a VR offshoot of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is on the way. Rockstar Games is working with Facebook here to present the world of Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas from a new angle. Because of the cooperation, San Andreas VR will go on sale exclusively for Oculus Quest 2. There is no release date for this yet. It is also unclear whether the developers will use the new edition of the Definitive Edition or the original as the basis for the VR implementation.
