Pokémon sneakers: These Converse Chucks in Poké design look really stylish

Express your enthusiasm for Pokémon with every step you take? You can do that soon with the help of new sneakers. The sneaker manufacturer Converse was brought on board for a collection for the 25th birthday of the little pocket monsters – yes, they are that old already. The result was stylish chucks and more. Pokémon-Chucks

It’s all about this: Pokémon turns 25. The pocket monsters have been delighting their fans for over two decades. To celebrate, the sneaker and sporting goods manufacturer Converse was brought on board. The result was a collection that of course includes Chucks, but also other sneakers and a hoodie. In keeping with the occasion, the selection of motifs is limited to first-generation Pokémon such as Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur.

The chucks are in the basic tones black and white. The black models are printed with the first generation starters and Pikachu and show the pocket monsters in color. Another model is dedicated to Jigglypuff.

The white chucks are a little less colorful and show black and white versions of the aforementioned Pokémon and Meowth. The color highlight is a Poké ball, which has been integrated into the shoe in a slightly plastic and red glow.

What else do you need to know?

Chucks aren’t everything: Another highlight of the collection is a black hoodie that combines Pikachu and a Converse logo, from which lightning flashes. Particularly cool: the hoodie is based on a tour shirt and names different stations on the back that we know from Pokémon games.

When and where does the collection appear? According to Hypebeast, the collection will be released on December 10th, and if you want to secure your parts yourself, you can do so directly through Converse and other unspecified retailers.
