Ghostrunner: Cyberpunk platformer gets a new playable character with “Project Hel” including its own campaign

The cyberpunk action platformer Ghostrunner (ab 11,00€ at buy) gets its biggest expansion yet. The developers of the game One More Level and publisher 505 Games have revealed more details about the new DLC and revealed that it will be a story-based expansion that includes a well-known character.

In the DLC with the title “Projekt_Hel” you play, as the name suggests, in the role of Hel, a boss opponent of the original game. Hel will be a combat-oriented character who will appeal to “new players and veterans” and will have his own skill progression system. With the paid expansion you get six missions in which you can play through the new story and accompany Hel on her descent into the Dharma tower. The developers also offer you new opponents, bosses and six fresh songs by the electronic musician Daniel Deluxe, which will accompany your fights with music. The One More Level team speaks of the new DLC as a “full-fledged ghostrunner experience”, which was actually planned in advance as a small DLC. In addition to the new story, a free cosmetic package is also planned for Ghostrunner. The Holiday Pack will include several “festive” swords and matching gloves and will be available from December 7th.

Project_Hel will be available on January 27th at a price of 14.99 EUR on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Luna and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG. If you want to try the extension in advance, you can try your luck and yourself register for an early closed beta. The participants are named in the credits of Projekt_Hel.
