Fortnite can’t be played – when and for how long?
When and how long is the downtime? The downtime lasted until December 5th at 4 p.m. Until recently, since the live event at the end of the chapter, players have been staring at the murky sea in which a skin was floating on a tree trunk. What’s new for the Battle Royale mode? We can’t be sure about the changes yet, but leaks and dataminers have proven to be a reliable source in the past. You can expect these changes:
New map
The dice queen rotated the entire old map by 180 ° without any problems. A new arena of struggle came about. This new island will most likely be the new Fortnite map for Chapter 3.

New Quest System – Milestones
According to the leaker, the quest system will be changed again in Fortnite. The well-known stamp cards will be replaced and you will have the opportunity to run after milestones.
Each milestone has 20 steps that make XP jump every time. Whether the XP increases after each level is unknown, but cannot be completely ruled out.
The daily tasks are still there to give you a certain boost in experience points.
Environmental disasters – tornadoes, lightning and thunderstorms
Among other things, the trailer was also impressed by the realistic implementation of natural disasters such as tornadoes and thunderstorms. These could appear randomly to you in combat.
