Halo Infinite is finally launching the single-player story this week, but multiplayer fans also have reason to be happy: A new leak shows a whole range of new modes that are apparently already created in the game. When and whether they will really all be playable is not yet certain, but the extensive selection certainly looks promising.

Halo Infinite fans can rejoice: Multiplayer modes leaked

This is what it’s about: Halo Infinite appears in two parts and the free multiplayer was released a few weeks ago, while the story campaign appears the day after tomorrow. However, a few new modes would do the multiplayer mode very well and it looks like they are coming too. You can even see them in the game.

Redditor WickedSoldier911 apparently discovered a number of unreleased Halo Infinite modes. They can apparently be viewed when the game is started offline. That was only possible with a lot of back and forth, in which both PC and Xbox and a lot of logging in and out were involved.

These modes could come: You can see here which multiplayer modes are apparently already dormant in the depths of Halo Infinite.

  • Arena: Attrition
  • Arena: Attrition Dodgeball
  • Arena: Elimination
  • Fiesta: Attrition
  • Holiday: CTF
  • Fiesta: One Flag CTF
  • Fiesta: Strongholds
  • Ranked: Elimination
  • Ranked: One Flag
  • Tactical: Slayer
  • Tactical: Slayer Commandos
  • Tactical: Slayer Manglers
  • Tactical: Slayer Sidekicks
  • Tactical: Slayer Stalker Rifles

That should please all fans of the corresponding variants, at least when these multiplayer modes really come into play. In view of the find, this seems reasonably likely, but of course it is not one hundred percent certain. What is certain is that at least Tactical (SWAT), Fiesta and Free for All playlists have been confirmed by developer studio 343 Industries (via GamingBolt).
