Today the new map of CoD Warzone comes, but not for everyone – live ticker for maintenance work & server status

At 6:00 p.m. today, December 8th, the new Caldera map for Call of Duty: Warzone will be released. The free Battle Royale starts its comprehensive Pacific update and even shuts down the servers for 12 hours beforehand. We will accompany the release with you in our live ticker.

What’s up at Warzone? More than 1.5 years after its release, Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a new, large map: the Pacific volcanic island “Caldera”.

As part of the first joint season with Call of Duty: Vanguard, the new map will go online at 6 p.m. on December 8th. However, not all players can then visit the island paradise.

Here you will find everything you need to know about the release of the new map and in our ticker we accompany the publication live. If there are any problems, you will find reactions from the developers here and you will then know exactly whether other players have similar problems or what a possible solution looks like.

Warzone Pacific Update: Release Expiration

Here are the most important dates for the release in the overview:

• Start of the preload: December 8th at 6:00 a.m.
• Server down times: December 8th from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Start of Pacific update: December 8th. at 6:00 p.m.
• Access to Caldera for Vanguard buyers: December 8th. at 6:00 p.m.
• Access caldera for non-buyers: 09.12. at 6:00 p.m.

What can I start playing if I haven’t bought Vanguard? Most of the modes at the start of the Pacific update play on the new map Caldera and are therefore not yet available to you.

However, there will be 2 modes on the smaller “Rebirth Island” map for the release. The changes of the Pacific update are already in the game and you can also use the almost 40 new weapons.

But Caldera will be closed to you until December 9th at 6 p.m.
