GTA Online inspires its players: The flying grief motorcycle is now less annoying

The new “The Contract” update for GTA Online finally brings a new counterattack against the Oppressor Mk 2. Players are happy, they post videos of how they are now fighting the Griefer.

What’s new? On December 15th, the new “The Contract” update for GTA Online was released. In the game you can now find new cars, weapons, agencies and also armories. This content alone is already well received by the community. But a new content that can be built into cars is currently being celebrated wildly.

Players write that it is probably the best new feature in the entire update. Because that way you counter griefers with flying motorcycles.

Install jammers for homing missiles in cars

What kind of content is that? At the vehicle workshop, you can install the new jammer for homing missiles in your cars. However, there are restrictions, as only four cars have so far qualified for this feature. If you build that, players who fly vehicles like the Oppressor Mk 2 can no longer send homing missiles to chase you. No, they have to aim properly and aim at you manually.

Which vehicles does this work on? Currently only at

  • Buffalo STX
  • Dewbauchee Champion
  • Enus Deity
  • Enus Jubilee

They are all vehicles of the new update. You can find all new cars and weapons with prices from The Contract on MeinMMO.

How do you build that in? Visit your vehicle workshop within your agency with one of the vehicles listed. Then you will find the tab with “Imani Tech” in the tuning options. You know Imani as a hacker in your agency. There you will find the option for the new jammers.

Here you can have the jammer installed in your vehicle for 400,000 GTA dollars

What do the players say about the jammer?

How does that look in action? In a video from Flugherbutter you can see the effects of the jammer. The player is pursued by an Oppressor Mk2 and tries to shake off the pursuer with several turns. Since he now needs a straight line to shoot and his homing missiles are useless, he hesitates to shoot. In a straight line, Flugherbutter goes hard in the iron. As a result of the emergency braking, the motorcycle gunner crashes into the car with his vehicle and the rocket and does not survive the accident. The car, on the other hand, survives the attack.

Before the update, shooting it down with the Oppressor was a breeze. With the homing missiles you could aim and shoot your targets high up in the air. That was annoying and was maxed out by griefers over the years.

This is what reddit says: Missile lock-on jammers are a huge topic in the GTA Online community. Games are happy that they finally have a counterattack against the annoying opponents who stalk you with their aircraft motorcycles. “Oppressor players are now beating their monitors,” jokes Jjzeng reddit.

Player randomhippie123 says on reddit: “That is probably the best part of the update” and it has received a lot of encouragement. Other players would also like the upgrade for their old cars, which they use a lot. So Rockstar can still make improvements.

So far, players have used fun tricks to get revenge on annoying Oppressor griefers.

How do you like the new feature from “The Contract” update? Are you going to install this in the new cars or have the griefers never bothered you in such a way that it would be worth installing?
