A Metro system in Cyberpunk has now been added via Mod.

It is now well known that Cyberpunk 2077 did not appear in the condition and with the content as fans and developers CD Projekt Red originally imagined. One of those features that were later removed is a metro system, of which we can still find the remnants of the stations in the game.

Thanks one new mod However, the alternative means of transport, called NCART, is now returning – at least for players on the PC via Nexus Mods.

That’s in the Metro Mod

The page Wccftech has listed all the features of the mod and also explains how you use them in the game.

  • fully functional metro system including 19 stations
  • Switching between first and third person cameras
  • no loading times
  • also optimized for controllers

You can see what the metro looks like in the game here:

So you can use the metro stations

Enter metro stations: Have you installed the mod, all stations are displayed as fast travel points on the map of Night City. Of course, you can also reach the stations on foot.

Where the journey is going is shown to you at the bottom right of the screen as soon as you are at one of the stations. To get on, all you have to do is interact with the incoming train.

Interactions on the train: The metro itself works the same as the cars in Cyberpunk 2077. So you can switch the camera perspective and leave the train again with the appropriate button. If you want to change seats, use the button to change weapons (mouse wheel). You can also turn the radio on and off while driving.

In the Mod menu you can also set how fast the train goes, how far the third person camera zooms out, how long the trains stop at the individual stations and what the journeys at the respective stations cost.

Metro stations also for consoles?

The question is, of course, whether we will see a similar feature on consoles at some point. And in fact, that is not impossible. At the beginning of 2022, not only will the versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S appear, CD Projekt also promise more DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077 for the coming year.

We do not believe that this will include the metro that has already been planned. Do you want yourselves inform about the roadmap, you can find all information about this in a separate GamePro article.

Would you like the Metro for consoles as well, or would other features have a significantly higher priority?
