That’s why you should get the new Dawning Weapons 2021 in Destiny 2

At first glance, Destiny 2 doesn’t offer much new in the Dawning Event 2021. But the old weapons in particular have become stronger with the addition of popular perks. We take a look and tell you which strong perk combos will work particularly well in 2021.

The tower will also be festively decorated when it opens in 2021. Eva has her oven with her again, which means you can bake cookies. In return, there are mostly well-known rewards and some shiny dust in return. Because of this, the event did not entice some Guardians to participate too much at first.

Compared to the Halloween event with headless knights and a Lorebuch, the dawn of the year offers little new at first glance. But this year it is precisely the old weapons that the Guardians want to earn until January 4th, 2022, and for good reason.

• There is the first stasis sword with the new perk “Cold Steel”.
• The old weapons have been expanded to include popular perk combos.
• The Dawning Fusion Rifle can now drop with a really powerful perk combo.

Glazioglasmus – Void Fusion Rifle

The players already know the Void Fusion Rifle from the beginning of 2020. However, it was not very popular with the Guardians at the time. Although the weapon is strongly reminiscent of the notorious Erentil, his perk pool could still not convince the players in 2020.

Bungie has therefore spiced up the perk pool of the fusion rifle this year and expanded it to include popular perks such as “Auskommen” and “Speicher-Salve”. Destiny-2-Content-Creator, wie KakisHD, called this a “unique PvE Godroll” for Glacioclasmus even before the event.

Interesting is also: Glacioclasmus is the only fusion rifle that can drop in Destiny 2 with this special perk combo of “Livelihood” and “Storage Salvo”.

This can be played well in the PVE:

• “Improved battery” for a larger magazine.
• After a kill, the magazine reloads “Auskommen” from its reserves.
• “Memory volley” is comparable to “Dragonfly”. When the battery is full, your next volley does extra damage and enemies explode when they die.
• In season 15 you can increase your damage in PvE even further with the seasonal mod “Particle Decomposition”.
• Masterpiece: range

The Void Fusion Rifle is also competitive in PvP:

• “Hammer-forged twist” – you get a solid ranged combat barrel for increased range.
• “Projection detonator” gives you additional range. This allows you to fire the weapon from a distance for even more effective damage.
• After a kill, the magazine reloads “Auskommen” from its reserves.
• “Resounding reserves” because in PvP there is often very little special ammunition available. Your last projectiles in the magazine do more damage.

Zephyr – stasis sword

The new edition of the classic “Zephyr” is the first stasis sword in Destiny 2 and should therefore get a permanent place in the vault next to a void, an arc and a solar sword. It offers you the new perk “Cold Steel” to slow down enemies hit and improve your stasis builds.

Slowing effects can be stacked: In particular, the fact that a power weapon now has slowing effects could come in handy. They can be stacked until enemies are permanently frozen. This makes the new sword ideal for stasis builds of all three classes.

This can be played well in the PVE: A combination of the well-known sword godroll, in which the perks can be changed, is practical. This makes it possible to switch between “whirlwind blade” and “cold steel”.

• “Balanced sword hilt” ensures balanced defense.
• “Fissured Blade” increases damage at the expense of sword ammunition.
• Sustained Hits grants sword ammunition in a short amount of time when landing three light hits. (light attack)
• “Whirlwind Blade” increases sword damage from quick sword hits for a short time.
• “Cold Steel” Charged hits with the sword slow down targets.

Avalanche – solar machine gun

The “Avalanche” solar machine gun is visually reminiscent of the former Gambit mower “21% Delirium”. However, with a much lower rate of fire and without the once powerful “kill mark list” perk. Nevertheless, the machine gun still has practical advantages today and, thanks to its adaptive housing, is robust and reliable.

At the beginning of 2021, the weapons also got the perk “Livelihood” as an option. In PvE, this makes it a solid option for sweeping smaller groups of opponents off the map. Even in higher levels of difficulty.

In PvE you should use these perks:

• “SPO-26-Front” is a special SUROS lightweight red dot sight that allows a short zoom and increases the handling speed and range.
• “Enlarged magazine” gives the weapon a little more ammunition reserves at the expense of the reloading speed, which somewhat improves the low standard ammunition reserves.
• In 2021, “Auskommen” supplements last year’s Godroll perk “Self-loading holder”. The magazine reloads from the reserves directly after a kill so that the weapon does not have to be stowed away first.
• “Dragonfly” creates an explosion of elemental damage.
• Combine this with the weapon mod “Dragonfly Specification”, which increases the effect and damage of Dragonfly.

Cold front – kinetics submachine gun

The kinetic submachine gun is the most inconspicuous of all break-in weapons with an “aggressive housing”. Even if it does a lot of damage for an MP, it has very little stability. In the Crucible, therefore, the weapon could not convince most of the players.

They are also rarely seen in PvE activities, as there are much better options. However, should you still like it, these perk combos are recommended:

Rely on this role in PvE:

• “Small caliber”, which provides more stability
• “Improved projectiles” give the weapon more range.
• “Fressrausch” brings you a continuous improvement to the reload speed for a short time after every kill.
• “Kill-Clip” gives the weapon more damage when you reload after a kill. With a small magazine size, ideal for this submachine gun.
• Masterpiece: stability or range

For PvP, stability improvements are particularly recommended:

• “Small caliber” brings more stability
• “Tactical magazine” again brings a slight improvement in stability, magazine size and reload speed.
• “Zen Moment” also helps you to stay on point and supports stability
• Try out “rangefinder” or “dynamic swing reduction”
• Masterpiece: stability

This is how you earn the Anbruch-Waffen 2021

The weapons can only be earned during the Dawning event. The Christmas event has been running in Destiny 2 since December 14, 2021 and ends on January 4, 2022.

• In order to get the weapons, you have to diligently bake cookies. As a token of gratitude, the friendly NPCs give you, among other things, Abruch gift packages in return.
• With every treat that is presented, you have the chance of one of the breaking weapons with random rolls.

This increases the chance of good rolls: So that you have a higher chance of good perk combos, you should unlock all the opening benefits for the weapons with Eva as soon as possible, such as “extra great gifts” and “even extra great gifts”. They cost 40 Dawning Moods and ensure that you can drop all Dawning weapons in the left and right slots with additional perks to choose from.

Fall you still lack a beginning mood: The exotic ship “Star Driver 7M” gives you a chance to get the mood of the dawn if you find the ingredients to start. Players could earn it when it first broke last year. Equip it and look at Eva Levante for the ship package on page 2. In 2021 she will give you all the propulsion and teleportation effects for it that you could still earn in 2020.
