Pokémon GO: All events in January 2022 and which ones are worthwhile

In Pokémon GO, all events in January 2022 with raid hours, limelight hours and legendary raid bosses such as Kyurem, Heatran, Genesect and Regice are known. In our overview we show you everything that awaits you in January.

Which events are particularly worthwhile in January 2022?

Die Themen-Events: Niantic held out the prospect of three themed events that could be worthwhile.

• The New Years event from December 31st to January 4th brings “chic new outfits for your avatar” and costumed Pokémon, explains Niantic.
• “Mountains of Power” event: This starts on January 7th and is active until January 13th. You will work with Spark during the event to jointly activate the second mechanism of the mysterious door. Niantic says that this journey should take you into landscapes that are reminiscent of mountains in the Johto and Sinnoh regions
• The “Event for the power plant in Kanto” starts on January 19th and is active until February 1st. Again you work with Spark. To open the last mechanism of the mysterious door, you should catch steel and electric Pokémon. Which of them spawn more often is still unclear. There is also the teaser: “By the way, it seems as if our villains have also learned about the door and the power that it may be hiding …”. Team GO Rocket may also play a role in the event.

Unfortunately, the raid hours and spotlight hours in January are not so special that we would have to specifically recommend them here. You can keep an eye on Genesect as a bug attacker for your collection. Those who like to play PvP could find an exciting attacker in Regice.

In addition, with Aerodactyl, the first rock mega-Pokémon moves into the game, which could even be useful as an attacker in raids.
