Your Most Wanted Games 2022: Two Sony Exclusives say hello from above

These are your Most Wanted games of 2022.

The year 2021 is history and has brought us some great titles. But now it is time to look ahead, after all, there are also a number of potential highlights on the agenda in 2022. Releases that already fill us with anticipation and that we can hardly expect to land in our consoles.

There are enough games to look forward to on the release list. But which title is your favorite? We asked you the question about your Most Wanted title of 2022 in our survey last week and made you some suggestions. In addition, you were able to name your own titles in the comments. Now, here are the preliminary final results of this survey:

Sony has big plans this year and that is also reflected in the voting results: Because two of the biggest Playstation releases of 2022 – the Horizon and God of War successors – say hello from the top. The release of Spitenreiter Forbidden West is also within reach, Aloy’s opulent-looking new adventure is due to appear in February.

Horizon Forbidden West trailer shows the diversity of machine beings

Elden Ring secured a good third place, Hogwarts Legacy then looked almost a bit behind in fourth place with almost 300 votes, as did Starfield, one of the two Xbox exclusives on our list of suggestions. But all of these titles show: If the releases actually all take place, we will have a top-class gaming year ahead of us.

And not only the titles we suggest contribute to this, but also the games you mentioned in the comments. Many of them occurred multiple times:

For some of them – such as Forza Motorsport – the wish is probably the father of the thought, but a 2022 release is completely impossible for any of these titles. Some of you let your eyes wander even further into the future, including User Lxrs:

“2022 actually only Hogwarts Legacy so far. But 2023 will be more like my year with (probably) some of these games like Jedi: Fallen Order 2, Eclipse, Kotor & the Ubisoft-Massive game, otherwise games like Spider-Man 2.”

In terms of game releases, we shouldn’t get bored in the year that has just begun.
