This TP-Link router automatically moves its antennas to find the best Wi-Fi signal

Having optimal Wi-Fi coverage can be a headache. Nowadays we constantly use the Internet from different points of the house. Do youAnd if the antennas of the router could move to always point towards us? TP-Link believes that this is a good option and has shown this at CES 2022.

The Chinese manufacturer of products for networks has presented this Tuesday the Archer AXE200 Omni, Wi-Fi 6E router with four smart motorized rotating antennas. It is a device that does not go unnoticed due to its peculiar design, connectivity characteristics and promised functionality.

AX200, the router that moves your antennas

As you can see in the video, the new TP-Link router automatically moves its motorized antennas based on the location of the device that is connected to it. In this way it provides the best possible connection regardless of location.

If the TP-Link router delivers as promised, you should have an optimal connection in different parts of your home, even if you are moving. Although of course, all this within a reasonable distance and taking into account that there are certain obstacles that can hinder any Wi-Fi signal.

But there are more than four motorized antennas on the AXE200 Omni. The router is compatible with Wi-Fi 6 standard and it has tri-band connectivity, that is, it offers support for the new 6 GHz frequency, as well as the previous ones, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It also has a 2.5 Gb Ethernet port.

Unfortunately, this device is just a prototype. The company has not specified whether it will go on sale at some point in the future. However, if its design seems curious to you, TP-Link will offer a similar device, but without the motorized antennas and, in this case, with quad band. Its about AXE300.
