FIFA 22: TOTW 16 has good cards for the Premier League – but the most important thing is missing

The TOTW 16 in FIFA 22 is available now. But while there are a few decent tickets on board for the Premier League, a certain multiple world footballer is sorely missed.

What is the TOTW? In the “Team of the Week”, the best players from real football are given improved cards every week if they have been able to stand out with particularly good performances. Then there is the black Inform card, which not only has better values, but can usually also bring in a few more coins on the transfer market.

In addition, special cards such as the OTW cards can be upgraded with the TOTW.

When is TOTW 16 coming? The current Team of the Week, TOTW 16, is now available in the FIFA 22 packs. It replaced the last TOTW cards on Wednesday, January 5th at 7:00 p.m. and will now be included for a week.

The red picks from the Weekend League rewards will also contain the cards from TOTW 16 this week.

TOTW 16 comes without Cristiano Ronaldo, but with Kanté

Who is in TOTW 16? In the current team of the week there are mainly cards from the English Premier League and LaLiga, which is probably due to the winter breaks in many other leagues. The top card in TOTW 16 is N’golo Kante with a total of 92.

That should also be the main prize for everyone who hopes for strong cards from packs – Kanté is probably one of the best midfielders you can field in FIFA 22. This should apply in particular to his now second Inform card.

Which card is missing? In the predictions for TOTW 16, one name appeared frequently: Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United. Especially with a view to his OTW card, which gets better with every TOTW card, many players had hoped for the Portuguese – also because there were generally few players available this week. But the first Inform card for Ronaldo in FIFA 22 is still missing.

In the new TOTW there are a few useful cards for the Premier League – at least the feature card doesn’t look bad for Sanchez, you can also do something with Foden. But a real top menu is actually only Kanté. A TOTW Ronaldo would have brought in a little star power.

Recently, top cards weren’t that popular in the FIFA community anyway – at least when they’re on the opposing team. Just recently there was a big discussion about whether some cards in FIFA 22 could not simply be kicked over in a targeted manner.
