Genshin Impact is now giving you 640 veterans for a short time – this is how you can secure it

At the start of Update 2.4 you can get a lot of veterans in Genshin Impact. You don’t even have to do much to do that – you just have to be quick. MeinMMO tells you what to do.

With Update 2.4, Genshin Impact gets a lot of new things. In addition to the new spear users Shenhe and Yun Jin and a new region in Inazuma, the popular Anemo-DPS Xiao is also available again.

The new characters can only be obtained via a lucky ticket in the gacha system. If you are fast, you can currently easily claw 640 old rocks. That is exactly enough for 4 prayers in the banner of your choice, which you can also redeem. You don’t have to do much for that either.

How do I get the gifted veteran? You don’t have to do much to get hold of all 640 veterans. You just have to act quickly. That is how it goes:

• You get 600 veterans via the news in the game. To do this, open the Paimon menu in the game and select the letter symbol on the left-hand side of the screen. This is how you get into your mailbox.
• In the mailbox you should find 2 messages. Both contain 300 primary rocks each.
  • You get 300 veterans as compensation for the server maintenance that takes place before each patch.
  • You will receive another 300 veterans as compensation for errors in patch 2.3 that affected Ayaka, Yanfei, Beidou and Kokomi. In any case, you get the veteran: You don’t have to have had the problems yourself – or even have the characters – to get these 300 veterans.
• Click on “Collect all” at the bottom left to immediately bag the 600 veterans.

You have already received 600 of the 640 veterans!

You get the remaining 40 veterans by trying out the current 5-star characters. This is also very easy:

• To do this, select the “Actions” field in the Paimon menu (the symbol for this is a compass).
• Under the option “test run” you should see Shenhe. From here, click on “Try it out” at the bottom right

• Complete the challenge and click on “Exit Dungeon”.
• If you click on “Test run” again in the action overview, you should be able to secure the 20 old rocks, where the green tick can be seen in the picture above.
• Repeat the process with Xiao. To do this, click on his portrait on the side in the “Test run” menu. Even so, you get 20 veterans.

You can also try the 4-star characters that are currently in the banner in the same way. So you don’t get a veteran, but you get materials that are relevant for the characters to level up.

Until when can I get the bedrock? The 600 veterans that you get through the news will expire 30 days after the start of patch 2.4. So you still have time until February 4th to secure these 600 veterans.

The bedrock from the trial runs will be available until the end of the Shenhe and Xiao banners. So you can secure these 40 veterans until January 25th.

More rewards through the Holy Sakura

Another easy way to get rewards quickly at the start of 2.4 is the Holy Sakura. If you have already reached Inazuma, you can find the tree at the large Narukami shrine on the island of Narukami.

With update 2.4, more rewards have been unlocked via the tree. All you have to do is interact with the tree and exchange your electrical seals. You can get this by opening chests in Inazuma, locking one-time lockable spheres on the Inazuma Islands or leveling up the statue of the seven on Inazuma.

It is very worthwhile. Through the sacred sakura you regularly receive rare items such as fates of both kinds, fragile resin or crowns of wisdom. You will get the necessary electronic seals ‘by the way’ when you explore all regions in Inazuma.

You can also get more seals on the new island of Enkanomiya, which will be available with patch 2.4. There are also many new chests and quests – they also give you a lot of old hands.
