Pokémon GO: The Mountains of Power event starts tomorrow – All Shinys and Bonuses

What kind of event is it about? As part of the season of origin, there is an event called “Mountains of Power” in Pokémon GO. This is all about the next riddle of the mysterious door, which Professor Willow and the team leaders found at the beginning of the season.

When does the event start? The “Mountains of Power” event starts on January 7th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time. You will then have just under a week to use all the bonuses and diligently catch Pokémon until the event ends on January 13, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

New Pokémon and Shinys for the “Mountains of Power” event

During the “Mountains of Power” event, two monsters will make a very special debut in Pokémon GO. So you can catch snail magick in its dazzling form for the first time. The Fire-type Pokémon comes from the 2nd generation of games and can be further developed into Magcargo.

The mega-development of Aerodactyl also celebrates a debut at the “Mountains of Power” event. You can only meet this in the mega raids. If you defeat the monster, you will receive the corresponding mega-energy with which you can develop yourself a strong aerodactyl into a temporary mega-Pokémon.

Mega Aerodactyl is the first rock mega that will be in the game. Like Aerodactyl itself, its mega development is particularly convincing in attack and is therefore one of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
