Dataminers find new class for Diablo Immortal, sounds like a vampire knight

After the Diablo Immortal beta ended, Dataminers took a closer look at the Chinese client. There they noticed that an apparently unknown class was hiding in the files.

What kind of class is that? The Blood Knight (orig. “Blood Knight”) is actually an NPC variety from Diablo 1. There, this variation of the Hell Knight was considered extremely dangerous and could easily overwhelm even experienced players when the knights appeared in groups.

The most famous blood knight was Lachdanan, the captain of King Leoric’s guard, who later killed him with his own hands. You even see the story as an echo in Diablo 3, where you fight against Leoric in the form of the Skeleton King.

Now these dangerous opponents have also been found in Diablo Immortal. However, as a playable class, it looks like.

How secure is the information? The Blood Knight was found back in November 2021 when the Diablo Immortal beta started. However, there was little information available about the class at the time. However, skills related to the knight have now also been found.

However, the dataminers were able to find a weapon called “Blood Knight” before. Since Blood Knights were also NPCs in the past, it is not yet entirely clear whether this is a new class.

These are the skills: Blood knight fighting chews description of the abilities probably mainly with a spear or a lance. The class uses them to chase enemies, impale them or attack all enemies around them.

In addition, blood knights should be able to suck out the blood of opponents through spells such as “Bloodsuck” or “Bat Troop” and summon bats to support them. Blood is also said to be used to conduct magical attacks. Shadows or black fog should also be possible as magic.

When will Diablo Immortal be released? The release of Diablo Immortal is currently still open. Shortly after the beta ended, developers talked about the game’s future and confirmed that the new ARPG should appear in early 2022.

Whether there will be an open beta beforehand is still pending. However, many suspicions point in the direction that another test is pending – especially since the West has barely been able to play so far. We will report as soon as we know if and when another beta is due.
