Pokémon Legends: Arceus is also giving you Pokémon again.
Pokémon legends Arceus is just around the corner and over time we will learn more and more about the new big Nintendo Switch exclusive. Here is a list of the Pokémon that are given to you. It’s only been two so far, but we’ll update this GamePro article in the future as more Pokémon come along.
- Darkrai: You get the Mysterious Pokémon as a gift if you have a score of Pokémon Radiant Diamond or have a shining pearl on your switch.
- Shaymin is also a Mysterious Pokémon. You get it as a gift if you have one Pokémon sword or have a shield score.
This is how you get it:
You don’t get the Pokémon just like that, they don’t appear on your team alone, as if by magic. Instead, there are a few steps that you need to take. What exactly, you will find out below.
- Darkrai: You must have finished the main story of Pokémon Legends: Arceus by now. Then you go to Jubeldorf, where you get a special research quest from a special NPC. If you accept the mission, you will find out where the Mysterious Pokémon can be found.
- Shaymin: You get the Shaymin in its land form by first ending the main story. After the credits you can also get a new assignment from an NPC in Jubeldorf. If you accept that, you can capture the Mysterious Pokémon.

When is Arceus finally coming? It will not be long. The time has come this month: Pokémon Legends: Arceus will officially be released on January 28th exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. If you want to pass the time until then, we recommend New Pokémon Snap, for example.
