Pokémon Legends: Arceus – This is how you unlock the first secret gifts

Secret gifts are also waiting for you in Arceus.

Also in Pokémon Legends: Arceus there will be so-called secret gifts again. These are time-limited codes that you can use in the game to receive special items such as clothes, Pokéballs and even pocket monsters. We’ll explain to you how to use the function and have a list of the first codes ready for you.

Secret gifts in Pokémon Legends: Arceus received

Unfortunately we are not Christina Aguilera and therefore couldn’t play Pokémon Legends: Arceus themselves. So we don’t yet know exactly how the secret gift function will work in the game. We only have the information that we will need around two hours of game time to activate the feature.

Predecessors show how it’s done: However, the likelihood is very high that there aren’t any major differences, too Pokémon Sword & Shield and Pokémon Shining Diamond & Shining Pearl will give. If this is actually the case, you proceed as follows:

• launches Pokémon Legends: Arceus
• selects “secret gift” in the menu
• goes to “receive secret gift”
• click on “receive via internet” (if no code is required)

or

• click on “receive by code / password”
• enter a code

The first secret gifts in Arceus

Nintendo releases promo codes or gifts without codes at regular intervals, which you can access in the main parts of the Pokémon series. For Pokémon Legends: Arceus, four such bonuses are already known, which you can secure yourself at the launch (via defect). But be careful: after the expiry date, the codes are useless.

• Via the Internet (no code required): Receive the Hisuian Fukano Kimono Set. (Available until May 9, 2022)
• Via the Internet (no code required): Receive the Baneful Fox Mask. (Available until May 9, 2022)
• eShop code: Anyone who pre-orders the game in the eShop will receive an email with a code for 30 heavy balls. (Available until May 9, 2022)
• Amazon code: If you pre-order the game from Amazon USA / Japan, you will receive an email with a code for the Knakrack Kimono Set. (Available until May 16, 2022)

In addition to the secret gifts, you will receive rewards if a save file of another Pokémon title is already on your Switch. You can find out more here:
