Pokémon GO: Guide to Community Day with Seemops

Community Day with Seemops runs on January 16 in Pokémon GO. We’ll show you the bonuses and shinys and how you can get the most out of the event.

What kind of event is that? There is a Community Day every month in Pokémon GO. A Community Day Classic has also been in rotation since January 2022, which should probably take place every month. The regular Community Day starts first this month and focuses on Seemops.

What does Shiny Seemops look like?

This is how you make the most of Community Day

You should know that: If you use smoke or lock modules during the event from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., hold them for three hours each and attract many seemops during the event.

How to prepare: The event lasts 6 hours and brings you a lot of Pokémon encounters. So that you don’t have to empty your collection every few minutes, we recommend that you make enough space in the Pokémon collection beforehand. The tag function in Pokémon GO helps a lot when sorting your collection.

If you have enough space, you will again need a lot of balls. Pokéballs, superballs, hyperballs – the full range. In total, there should be 300 or 400 balls that you want to use for your Seemops catches. If you take the event really seriously, you should collect a lot more balls.

Which items are worthwhile?

• If you want to develop a lot of Seemops, you need a lot of candy. So start with Sanana berries and use smoke and lure modules
• If you want to earn a lot of EP, you should also activate Lucky Eggs. They also increase your XP bonus when you catch the event bonus. A good way to do this is to level up your friendships on this day and receive the strong bonuses.

If you want to get even more out of the event, the many Pokémon encounters also include star pieces that increase the stardust received for you.

Is Community Day with Seemops worth it?

This is how strong Seemops and their developments are: Seemops can develop into seejong and then walraisa. To gauge how much Community Day is worth, we looked at the strengths of all three Pokémon:

• Seemops is not particularly interesting in PvP in trainer battles or in PvE in raids.
• In PvP, Seejong is only at least in midfield in the super league, but does not play a role in the other leagues. Seejong is not interesting in raids.
• Walraisa, on the other hand, is exciting again in PvP, as it can master new attacks. One will have to wait a few more fights and tests to find out who Walraisa is really dwarfing. But in general, Walraisa with ice spear and powder snow is generally for the PvP players among you.

Secure the attacks: In order to secure the special attacks for Walraisa, you have to develop Walraisa during the event or up to two hours afterwards.

Who is the event worthwhile for? For the pure raid players among you, the event is not really interesting, as there are far stronger attackers for raid fights. We show you an overview of the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO here.

The PvP players are better served here, because Walraisa with the new attacks could prevail in PvP. So make sure you get a few specimens with strong values ​​at the event.

Shiny collectors will most likely be able to secure a few copies at this event.
