Monster Hunter Rise: Positive player feedback on Steam

Recently, the action role-playing game Monster Hunter Rise (from 44,99€ at buy) made its debut on PC. As is well known, the switch version has been around since March of last year and was able to collect a gold award in the test on 4Players.de. Many fans were all the more curious to see whether the port was as good as the original – or maybe even better. In any case, the reviews given so far speak positively.

On Steam reach the Reviews for the PC version Monster Hunter Rise reached a “very positive” level a few days after the release: 87 percent of the almost 3,000 reviews submitted at the time the news was created are positive, with the significantly smaller proportion going in the negative direction. Most users are very pleased with the port, although it seems that in some places it can be seen that the origin lies with the Switch. Here are some quotes from the Steam reviews:

“Fantastic port. Looks great and runs super smooth. Loading times are a maximum of two seconds for me.”

“Even better than Monster Hunter World. Highly recommended if you liked the previous Monster Hunter games.”

“No technical problems and absolute fun. 9/10 I would have liked a German voice output, but there are worse things.”

If you are still unsure whether Monster Hunter Rise will suit your taste: A demo is also available on Steam. Capcom’s action-adventure was released for Switch on March 26, 2021, and the PC version has been available since January 12, 2022.
