Samsung Bespoke Jet: the cordless vacuum cleaner that promises to filter 99.999% of particles
The Bespoke brand expands to vacuum cleaners. Samsung is betting on its range of design for home automation products and now presents the new Samsung Bespoke Jet, a vertical cordless vacuum cleaner that stands out for its cylindrical body and a powerful multi-layer filtration system which promises to filter up to 99.999% of particles.
We are facing a cordless vacuum cleaner with a 210W power and an Inverter motor that is up to 47% lighter than that found in the Jet 90, its high-end robot vacuum cleaner.
Samsung incorporates a ULPA filter in its new cordless vacuum cleaner
It has a weight of 1.44 kg and a base that loads the vacuum cleaner and is responsible for automatically empty the collected waste. But its biggest advantage over most rivals is the presence of the system that Samsung calls ‘All-in-One Clean Station’, the multi-layer filter that has an efficiency of 99.999%.
This microfilter traps fine dust particles and manages to remove that percentage of dust particles, pollen, mold and bacteria from the air, with a minimum size of 100 nanometers. This data is not an invention of Samsung, but follows a pre-established category of filters.
While most vacuum cleaners incorporate a HEPA filter, the Samsung Bespoke Jet adds a ULPA filter (for ultra small particles). It is a higher level that can even filter particles of tobacco smoke or insecticide dust.
Like the Dyson V15, the Samsung Bespoke Jet has a LCD digital display at the top where we can see from the battery time, but also adjust the suction levels and information on stuck objects. Although, we will not have such complete statistics on the collected particles.
The Bespoke Jet accepts a brush with rotating wet pads and a 150 ml water reservoir as an add-on.
For the battery, Samsung promises up to one hour of battery life on one charge. We have responsive batteries, although Samsung guarantees a performance of 70% during the first 500 charge cycles.
Availability and price of the Samsung Bespoke Jet
