Starfield: This official watch could be the new Pip-Boy

When Bethesda comes up with a new RPG, the fanbase’s anticipation is huge. It has been known since last year that Starfield, the new sci-fi RPG from the Skyrim makers, will be released on November 11, 2022. Not much is known about the game yet, but now a clock has appeared that probably has something to do with the game.
Collector’s Edition watch hints at Starfield
Fans on the Starfield Reddit are bridging the wait by trying to find out new info about the game over the internet. They are on the website of a British watch manufacturer encountered a guide, showing how their latest smartwatch works.
Starfield clock: As evidenced by the branding of The Wand Company’s LBV6 Chronomark Smartwatch, the watch is indeed linked to Starfield. When the watch is switched on, the logo of the “Constellation” faction can be seen. Players belong to this group and have the task of completely exploring the “Settled System”, the game world of Starfield.

More references to the RPG: But that’s not all the watch has to do with Starfield. It says “Est. 2188” on it. That would also explain why the watch has more of a retro look and doesn’t look too futuristic. The game itself doesn’t start until the year 2330, which is when the clock is far outdated. Why this is so will certainly become apparent within the story itself.

Smartwatch could be the new Pip-Boy
Within Fallout, there was always a constant companion on the main character’s arm, making sure that we always had the most important information at hand. The chunky Pip-Boy has basically been a replacement for a classic menu. For fans, the green-tinged device is an integral part of the gaming experience and was already part of a special edition as a replica.

A very small replacement: Starfield seems to say goodbye to the bulky device and probably uses the clock for it. So we could now improve our character values with the stylish smartwatch. At least that’s what the pictures from the instructions for the real Smartwatch suggest.
This also has functions such as weather data, barometer, stopwatch and much more. But the special thing about it is that the clock has a very special style that would be wonderful for the menus in the game. In addition, Bethesda Softworks is indicated as copyright in the settings. So there’s really no doubt that the watch is related to Starfield.
