The supposed (and probably false) design of the iPhone SE 3 is filtered: without Touch ID and with a notch
A new rumor has just appeared about the iPhone SE that would radically change what we knew until now.
Much has been said about the third generation of the iPhone SE, a new iPhone model that Apple could present at the beginning of this same 2022. However, the rumors that we had heard so far reported a continuous design with the simple inclusion of a new processor and 5G technology. However, now a new and supposed design has been leaked that does not match what we knew until now.
The images have been shared by @xleaks7 in colaboration with TenTechReview and shows us a design of the iPhone SE 3 never seen. Of course, this information must be taken with great caution, for the moment no reliable source has confirmed this design, and the history of @ xleaks7 in terms of leaks is not the best.

In case these images correspond to the final design of the iPhone SE 3, we would have a completely unique design for this device for the first time. According to the information, the body of the device is exactly the same, measuring 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm and a single rear camera, however the screen would change radically.
Instead of having large bezels and a Touch ID home button, we have a screen that reaches the edges of the device and introduces a notch with Face ID. The measurements of the screen are 131.3 x 60.2 mm, which offers us a 5.69-inch diagonal, slightly higher than that of the iPhone 13 mini.
According to @xleaks7 source, the notch is not 100% confirmed yet, however they assure that it is most likely. All of these renders are based on a leaked CAD file of the upcoming 2022 Apple iPhone SE 3, according to the source.
These iPhone SE images don’t look trustworthy
I personally think this information is not correct. In the iPhone SE, Apple has always used the body of a previous iPhone, first that of the iPhone 5s and then that of the iPhone 8. This is done for two main reasons: to reduce costs by using an already amortized design and not to compete directly in design. with the latest iPhones.
None of these reasons is fulfilled with this supposed iPhone SE 3. Although we take advantage of the body of the device, the screen would have to be designed completely from scratch to accommodate it, which would make the device more expensive. In addition, this iPhone SE is expected to include the latest Apple processor, the A15 Bionic, therefore it is not it would make a lot of sense to have two almost identical devices, iPhone 13 mini and iPhone SE 3.
The iPhone SE is a great investment
There are also other details, such as the placement of the Apple apple at the top or the word “iPhone” in the lower area that Apple abandoned several generations ago. Even the iPhone SE 2 has the apple in the center.
The most logical thing is that when Apple decides to change the design of the iPhone SE, use the body of the iPhone XR or iPhone 11. Similar to these renders, but with a 6.1-inch screen size to take advantage of those designs and just upgrade the processor.
