We already have the specifications of the OPPO Pad: Snapdragon 870 and 6 GB of RAM

The Chinese company has been delaying the launch of its tablet for months, according to rumors, but the latest leaks would have highlighted the technical characteristics of the device and its launch date.

OPPO’s tablet has been rumored since August here, although it was thought that it would be released by the end of 2021. Now, and according to new tests, the launch is expected throughout this first quarter of 2022.

We say this because A new leak ensures that the tablet has passed 3C certification with support for 33W fast charging.. And, for further confirmation, the device has just appeared in the Geekbench 4 benchmark database.

The benchmark contains the same model number as the 3C certification: OPD2101. In the benchmark it appears that the device runs Android 11 and it has 6GB of RAM.

As for the most important detail, Geekbench 4 reveals that the processor clock speed goes up to 3.19 GHz, which indicates that the tablet would carry the Snapdragon 870, as had been rumored at first and which means that we would be facing one of the most powerful tablets in the sector.

If we keep doing case to the rumors, the Oppo Pad would come with an 11-inch LCD screen (2,560 x 1,600) with a refresh rate of 120Hz, dual cameras including a main 13 Mpx and a secondary 8 Mpx with a total storage of 256 GB.

A mobile with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen, 128 GB of expandable storage with a microSD card, a 5,000mAh battery for all day and a 48 Mpx camera.

Finally, we talk about a large 8,080 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging, something key if we want to have the tablet charged in less than two hours, since one of the biggest handicaps of these devices is the full charge time compared to smartphones.

As we have mentioned, the OPPO Pad should arrive this first quarter of the year if the company manages to overcome the shortage of semiconductors, although the choice of the Snapdragon 870 should make things easier since it is currently a very little demanded SoC.
