TSV Trittau: Setback in the relegation battle of the Bundesliga

It should be the starting signal for catching up in the Badminton Bundesliga. But in the end, TSV Trittau conceded a 2:5 defeat at the start of the second half of the season against SG Schorndorf, a direct competitor in the fight for relegation, and continues to lose ground.

Trittau loses tight matches in the relegation battle

As so often in the season, the Stormarners kept up well, but lost almost all close matches. Just like Ary Trisnanto, who after a 2-0 lead in the set, had to admit defeat to Schorndorf’s David Kramer 2-3. The old man from Trittau even had a match point in the fifth set when the score was 10:9, but then gave up three points in a row and lost 10:12. In the end it was only Julien Carraggi (3-0 against Joshua Apiliga) and the doubles Daniel Seifert/Alexander Strehse who were able to score for TSV – not enough to be able to take at least one point with them.

Badminton Bundesliga club from Stormarn has to score in Neuhausen

This increases the pressure in the relegation battle for the Trittauer, who are second to last with only six points. Schorndorf is now almost out of reach with 13 points, Lüdinghausen on the relegation place has three points more than TSV. And on Sunday, the Stormarners have to play at TSV Neuhausen, which is currently in first non-relegation place with ten points.
