How streaming would look in Spain if Netflix finally goes up in price: comparison with all platforms

Since this weekend Netflix is ​​more expensive in the United States and there are fears that there will also be a price increase in Spain. We explain how the sector would look if it happened.

Yesterday Netflix subscribers woke up to news that they may not have liked too much: the price of the three plans in the United States has just risen. The situation repeats itself and, when it happens there, this type of movement usually ends up also reaching Spain.

In Netflix there are two news that are expected for this year: that there will be an increase in the cost of the service and that the shared accounts will end. News that many surely fear, but they are logical in the current streaming landscape and seen how the competition works.

Now in the United States it has gone to these figures: the basic plan reaches $9.99, the standard $15.49, and the 4K goes up two dollars to $19.99 per month. We already started talking about a remarkable price.

As we say, the situation raises fears that this escalation in prices will reach the rest of the countries, a circumstance that was already experienced in Spain in October, when all plans rose between one and two euros.
