• Open the Instagram app on your Android or iOS device. Go to your profile section by tapping on the profile picture at the bottom right corner of your screen.
• Now click on the three dots appearing there and go to Settings from the menu section.
• Go to Privacy and view Activity Status. Here, you will find a toggle switch for the Show Activity Status option (which is enabled by default). You can use the toggle switch to turn it off.

how to do it on computer

• First of all open instagram.com on your computer and login to your account.
• Now click on the icon of your profile picture and go to the settings.
• Here look for the Privacy and Security option and click on it. To disable the function, you need to uncheck the box next to Show activity status option.
