This is how the iPhone 14 could look if the rumors are true
The end of the notch is one of the most anticipated changes in the iPhone 14 redesign!
The expectation for the launch of the iPhone 14 in September of this year has been fed with information from Apple’s most reliable sources, who have offered clues related to price, design and even the models that could make up this new generation. But of all the rumours, the elimination of the notch occupies the first place of interest, and has already put the firm’s followers to work generating concepts and tricks on what the iPhone 14 could look like without a notch.
To get a more precise idea of what it would look like the iPhone 14 screen with a pill-shaped hole instead of the notch, concept artist Ian Zelbo took it upon himself to render a view on an iPhone with these changes.
This is what the iPhone 14 would look like with a pill-shaped hole
The concept shared via Zelbo’s Twitter account builds on a recent report that the camera house won’t be the usual round shape, but rather pill-shaped. Supposedly, only the front camera will be in the cutout. Face ID sensors will move under the screen of the iPhone 14 Pro.
The proposed device sits next to an iPhone 13 Pro to make it easier to compare the display notch and potential camera hole.

Unlike other iPhone 14 concepts, this proposal can be generated on iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. Thanks to a photomontage made by developer Jeff Grossman, we can add the image to our camera roll and view it by turning the iPhone, to prevent the still existing flap from seeing the pill-shaped hole.

If the reality matches the rumours, this likely design change would apply only to the two iPhone 14 Pro models. While the other two models will retain the usual screen notch.
Of course, this is just one of the possibilities with which Apple could finally replace the controversial component that has accompanied the iPhone since 2017, since to date there are at least three more alternatives to the notch that the iPhone 14 could use.
