Pokémon GO: Tomorrow the power plant event starts with a new monster – all bonuses and shinys

The Power Plant Event starts tomorrow, January 19, 2022 in Pokémon GO. Eguana is celebrating its debut in the game and of course some special features await you again. We took a look at what bonuses and shinys you can look forward to.

What kind of event is it? The adventure around the Encrypted Door in the Season of Origins continues and brings you the Power Plant Event. The main focus will be on electric Pokémon. You can also meet a completely new Pokémon during this time: Eguana.

In addition, Team GO Rocket will also appear in the game during the event and bring you one or two interesting bonuses.

When does the event take place? The Power Plant event starts on January 19, 2022 at 10:00 local time and runs until February 01, 2022 at 10:00 local time. From January 24, 2022 at 0:00 a.m. local time, Team GO Rocket will also be up to mischief in the game under the event part “A Bad Premonition”.

Eguana as a new Pokémon for the power plant event:

Just in time for the start of the power plant event, you can meet Eguana in Pokémon GO for the first time. The Electric and Normal-type Pokémon are from the 6th generation of games. It can be further evolved into Elezard with the help of 50 candies and a sun stone.

The new monster will spawn in the wild throughout the event and can be found in special event field research.

You can recognize Eguaza by its yellow body, blue eyes and noticeably long, black ears. However, a dazzling variant will not be available in the game for the time being.

Ist Eguana stark? Eguana is not particularly strong. And its further development Elezard can only show average attack, endurance and defense values. It is therefore not one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.

In addition to the numerous spawns and shinys that you can encounter during the power plant event, one or two bonuses are also waiting for you. Throughout the event period, you can encounter special Field Research by spinning the PokéStop. From the event part “A bad premonition” further bonuses are waiting for you.

Unlearn frustration with the help of a loading TM

In particular, unlearning frustration is a bonus that is only occasionally available in Pokémon GO and will therefore be of interest to many players.
