The entry iPad could be redesigned in 2023

The iPad 10 will look basically the same as the 9th generation, but leaker Dylandkt says the big changes will come with the iPad 11.

Apple presented its ninth-generation iPad at the end of 2021. This device came with a physical appearance that reminded us quite a bit of the classic iPad design, moving away from the cutout frames and all the new features that we have seen in other models such as the iPad Pro or iPad Fourth generation Air. Now we know that the iPad 10 is already on the way, but it seems that it is not the only one.

According to a new report from Dylandkt, a famous leaker about Apple, the next iPad 10 will arrive with some new features, such as improvements in its wireless connectivity thanks to the 5G technology, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. In addition, the device would arrive with an A14 processor, one of the most powerful processors that Apple has launched in its iPad tablets. However, he assures that we will not see too notable changes in the design of the tenth generation iPad that will be launched this year.

Also, the iPad 10 would have a 10.2-inch diagonal screen, and as the leaker has commented, it will continue to have a fairly classic Apple Lightning port. The device is expected to go on sale at the end of this year 2022.

The real renewal will come with the iPad 11

Dylandkt, on the other hand, comments that Apple is reserving the biggest changes for the 2023 version. The next generation of this future iPad 10 would arrive with a fairly important redesign. Although not much is known about the changes to come yet, some of the more obvious features that Apple could change in its next iPad are the Home button, which could disappear in favor of a slimmer bezel design. In addition, those from Cupertino could finally say goodbye to their Lightning port and choose a USB-C for their iPad 11, which we have seen in previous models as well.

The leaker is pretty famous for getting its predictions right, as far as we know. Dylandkt has already assured that a major redesign will come to the iPhone SE in 2024, as well as that a new iMac Pro will arrive in mid-2022 with a 27-inch screen and mini-LED technology. We’ll see if all these predictions end up being fulfilled, but the Apple product line looks pretty good for the next few years.
